Data we process
- Server logs: on each visit, the server technically records the IP address, date, requested page and browser. This data is used only for security and to keep the site running, and is deleted automatically after 14 days.
- Request form: name, email, phone (optional), details about your battery and your message. This data is used only to answer your request and to follow up on your repair. It is sent over an encrypted connection and stored in our customer records, kept in Google Workspace (Google LLC) and in our Shopify shop (Shopify Inc.).
- My battery: the number you enter is sent to our ref.swiss-battery.com service to display the battery record.
- Shop: purchases are made in the electrobikezone.ch online shop, operated on Shopify. That shop’s privacy policy applies there.
Hosting
The website is hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva.
Retention
Requests are kept for as long as needed to handle them and follow up on your battery, then deleted unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to info@swiss-battery.com.
